Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, stating that Abuja has seen remarkable development under his administration.
Speaking during an inspection of key infrastructure projects such as the Outer Southern Expressway II to Wassa and the Gishiri Interchange on Saturday, Wike expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, attributing it to Tinubu’s effective leadership and commitment to progress.
“Leadership is everything. With the right leadership, people truly benefit. President Tinubu has shown a genuine willingness to bring positive change. The Renewed Hope Agenda is clearly delivering results,” Wike said.
He went on to commend the President for what he termed “first-class infrastructure” in Abuja, noting visible improvements across the city. “You can see the transformation in Abuja. It’s evident. Only someone unwilling to acknowledge the truth would say the President hasn’t performed,” he added.
Wike also disclosed that a series of completed projects are scheduled for commissioning to mark Tinubu’s second year in office. Among these are the International Conference Centre, the N5 road project handled by Julius Berger, and the Greater Abuja Water Supply scheme.
“We’re preparing for a two-week-long commissioning of various projects. These include major roads in both the city and satellite towns, as well as key public infrastructure,” Wike revealed.
