And not quite long, I just got the news that Mrs Angela Folarin, wife of one the guber aspirants in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, was just attacked by the OPERATION BURST SQUAD.
I reliably gathered that the Mrs Angela passed by a location in RING ROAD where her husband’s billboard was being removed to be replaced by Gov. Ajimobi’s billboard. She stopped over to take a picture of the lawless situation when the commander of the squad ordered his boys to attack the woman and make sure her fone was seized.
On hearing this, she quickly got into her car and ordered her driver to drive away from the scene. Thinking it was over, eye witness, revealed that the OPERATION BURST SQUAD gave her car a very hot pursuit, firing sporadically at her car. She was alleged to have ordered her driver to stop while they ran into SHOP RITE to take cover.
May we be informed that the Oyo State Government has been exhibiting various political intolerance recently marking and pulling down billboards belonging to other political parties.
Also, its no news anymore that the govt now uses its squad of assailants to attack and intimidate its opponents. This was also heard last week when the OPERATION BURST attacked a group of NANS EXCOS at a press conference and arrested most of the members.
This is not only lawless but a callous and cowardly acts on the part of the govt. A very insensitive govt that harasses its citizenry.
