A driver of a Nissan pathfinder this evening killed two 100-level students of the Federal University of Agriculture,Abeokuta.
The accident occurred along the newly refurbished university road.
According to eye witness account, the driver of the pathfinder jeep who flee the scene after the incident occurred was running at a very high speed and at the same time competing for right of passage with an Okada rider suddenly swerved off the road hitting the students who were standing by the roadside in the process.
Students of the university are presently at the moment gathering to stage a protest, we will keep you updated as more information comes in
