Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has issued a passionate appeal to Nigerians, particularly bloggers and fans, to grant his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, the much-needed privacy and “breathing space” to recover from her current health challenges.
Nwoko conveyed his heartfelt message in a statement shared on his Instagram page earlier this week, addressing the persistent circulation of what he termed “fake reports” about the actress. These include fabricated death announcements and misleading stories concerning her health status, which have caused him considerable worry.
A Call for Compassion and Privacy
“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” Nwoko stated emphatically. The billionaire lawmaker highlighted that this appeal is not solely for Daniels’ well-being but also for the sake of their children.
He underscored the importance of their kids seeing their mother supported, loved, and afforded every opportunity to get better. Nwoko further emphasized that Daniels, who recently shared a video showing herself in a wheelchair and openly discussing her health struggles, has endured significant hardship.
Warning Against False Information
The Senator urged the public to offer love and support rather than judgment. He also issued a firm warning, stating that he would not tolerate the spread of false information concerning Daniels’ health and personal life.
This public plea comes amid an ongoing marital crisis between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, which reportedly became public knowledge last year with the actress’s alleged departure from their matrimonial home.
