KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson, Colonel Robert Netshiunda, confirmed that the suspect, who has since been arrested, allegedly ass@ulted the woman during an argument following her revelation.
According to reports, the man called the victim’s mother around 8 a.m., stating that a fight had escalated into an “ass@ult.”
When the family arrived at his residence, they found the woman partially n@ked on a mattress, with severe wounds on her head.
The boyfriend reportedly claimed that the victim had told him she was r@ped the previous day. However, he became enraged when her friends could not corroborate her account.
