The Samba Boys and Confederação Brasileira de Futebol are to earn $1.5 million if the planned friendly with the Super Eagles hold in September.
Although the date for the clash in Abuja, Nigeria has not yet been revealed, this will be the second time two teams will be clashing at the Abuja National Stadium. The first encounter was used to commemorate the commissioning of the Abuja Stadium.
According to reports the Brazilians are expected to field their A-team.
Both teams have since their fortunes nose dive in football circuit. The Nigerian national team once a name to be revered is now a shadow of their former self with football minions beating them silly in recent years. Fresh in the memory of its supporters is the dismal run which saw the Super Eagles failing to qualify for the 2012 African Nations Cup.
The Brazilian nation team is also suffering from loss in form; they failed to get past the quarter final at 2010 FIFA World Cup and COPA America 2011.
