Actor and producer Ruth Kadiri has called out fellow movie producers for placing undue pressure on actors, especially regarding generating views on YouTube.
Kadiri, a trailblazer in using YouTube as a platform for movie distribution, expressed her concerns about producers demanding their actors achieve one million views within a day of releasing films on the platform. She encouraged actors to resist such pressures and not let producers steal their happiness.
Emphasizing that view counts are not the sole measure of success or failure, she remarked, “Those who never invest in others are often the loudest critics.”
