Speaking during an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the singer explained that his former partner was “quite manipulative,” which created ongoing emotional strain throughout the relationship.
According to Rema, his career already exposes him to significant pressure and demands from the outside world, so he expected his personal life to provide comfort and peace. However, he said he often encountered additional stress at home instead.
The award-winning artiste revealed that the situation eventually became too difficult to manage, prompting him to walk away from the relationship.
Rema also disclosed that he is currently stepping back from romantic relationships in order to focus on his personal growth and career.
