The remains of the late cleric, Pastor Timothy Obadare would be committed to mother earth in August this year, the family had announced on Thursday in Akure, Ondo State capital.

One of the sons of the late cleric, Pastor Abraham Obadare said that arrangements were still ongoing towards organising a befitting burial for the renowned clergy man in August.

The son sai the family was yet to decide where their late father would be buried.

He further declared that the family’s decision was that their father must not be idolised.

“There have been suggestions on where the late evangelist should be buried, but we are still praying on it.

“We will definitely want him to be honoured, but not to be idolised because we do not want them to shift focus from God.

“The burial will be done in such a way that people can go to the place and pray if they wish and for the purpose of history as the case may be,” he said.

Obadare added that the burial arrangements would be communicated in due course.

Obadare passed on a month ago at his country home in Akure.
