President Jonathan and former CBN Governor now Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi met last night, July 23rd ,for the first time since Sanusi’s installation as Emir.
Sanusi and other northern traditional rulers were at the Presidential Villa in Abujato break the Ramadan fast with the President.
A source said a reconciliation meeting was brokered by the Sultan of Sokoto, Saa’ad Abubakar.
Naijalog recalls that allegations have been rife that President Jonathan suspended Sanusi governor of the CBN after he exposed shady deals being perpetuated by those who have close links with the President.
