Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr. P from the now-defunct group P-Square, has announced a change to his birthday celebration date, distancing it from the November 18 date he previously shared with his twin brother, Paul Okoye.
The singer made this known via his X (formerly Twitter) account on April 20, revealing that he will now celebrate his birthday on November 30 instead.
He explained that the decision is personal and asked for understanding from fans, friends, and family.
“Dear Family, Friends, and Fans,
I’m making it official. November 18th is no longer my birthday celebration date. Please note that I will not be accepting any messages or gifts on that day.
My birthday will now be celebrated on November 30th. This is a personal decision, and I truly appreciate your understanding.
Thank you all” he wrote
This development comes amid ongoing tensions between him, his twin brother Paul, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, following the group’s split several years ago.
