Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has extended his congratulations to Nigerian singer Tems on securing her second Grammy Award.
Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, clinched the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th Grammy Awards held on Sunday.
In a statement released on Monday, Obi praised Tems for her achievement and commended the outstanding success of Nigerian youth in the entertainment industry.
He expressed delight over the increasing global recognition of Nigerian talent across various sectors, especially in music. Additionally, he applauded other Nigerian artists who received Grammy nominations, highlighting the country’s vast reservoir of talent that continues to gain international acclaim.e
