Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has released the highly anticipated third installment of his video tell-all series, shedding more light on the deep-seated financial and personal disputes that fractured his relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their older brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.

In the latest video, the P-Square co-founder leveled serious financial allegations against his brothers, focusing heavily on what he claims were unauthorized diversions of the group’s royalties and sudden changes to their corporate banking structures.

The Discovery of Account Alterations and Hidden Royalties

According to Mr P, the financial discrepancies came to light when he attempted to request a statement of account for Northside Entertainment, the label under which P-Square operated. It was during this inquiry that he reportedly discovered he had been removed as a signatory to the company’s bank account without his knowledge or consent.

Driven by this discovery, the singer launched further investigations into how the group’s digital royalties were being handled. Mr P alleged that music aggregators had been splitting and distributing royalty payments under conditions he never authorized, raising concerns about the transparency of the family-run business.

Alleged $1.2 Million Royalty Diversion

A core revelation in the third part of the tell-all series involves the creation of a separate corporate entity. Mr P claimed that after P-Square’s initial split in 2017, royalty streams that should have been processed through Northside Entertainment were redirected to a new company, Northside Music.

He alleged that financial documentation revealed that over $1.2 million in royalty payments was funneled into this new Northside Music account between 2017 and 2023. Mr P emphasized that he never consented to this structural shift or the redirection of these substantial earnings.

Confrontations and Failed Resolutions

The singer detailed his efforts to address these issues privately before deciding to go public. He recounted confronting Jude Okoye regarding the alleged financial anomalies but claimed he did not receive satisfactory explanations. Mr P also revealed that he attempted to discuss the matter with his twin, Paul, in hopes of helping him see the financial discrepancies, but those conversations ultimately failed to mend their bond, leading to a further breakdown of their relationship.

Reiterating his motives, Mr P stressed that his public statements are not an attempt to destroy his family members. Instead, he maintains that after years of remaining silent and enduring public speculation, he feels compelled to share his side of the story to set the record straight.
