Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian who died in Lagos on Friday, has been cremated.
His body was cremated to stop the further spread of Ebola virus which was believed to be the cause of his death.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has advised that cremation is ideal for safe disposal of bodies of persons who die during the outbreaks of highly infectious diseases such as Ebola Virus in order to minimise further transmission.
