Ivy Ifeoma, wife of singer Rudeboy, has advised women not to make marrying a wealthy man their ultimate life ambition.
Sharing her views on relationships and financial independence, Ivy explained that although marrying a rich partner can create opportunities and positively impact one’s life, it should not be the sole reason for entering a relationship.
According to her, a partner’s wealth still belongs to them, which is why women should focus on building their own financial stability and independence.
She also stressed that qualities such as generosity and good character are more valuable in a partner than money alone.
Ivy further revealed that she was already financially successful before meeting Rudeboy and encouraged women to invest in personal development, career growth, and wealth creation instead of depending on marriage for financial security.
She said in part:
“This is my take on the idea of marrying a rich man and before you come for me, know that I was a millionaire before I met this man
To be honest, marrying a rich man should not be anybody’s primary goal. Because why would you even have the primary goal of marrying somebody else because they are rich, at the end of the day it’s their money, not your money. I’d rather you stay in marriage with a generous person. But don’t get me wrong but marrying rich is a very good add-on because it can open doors of opportunities for you, but what I will tell you to do as a woman is to get rich…”
