INEC, NYSC ASSURES CORPS MEMBERS OF SAFETY

The safety of corp members who will serves as ad hoc staff during the forthcoming elections has been assured.

This comforting words were uttered during a visit of the INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner in Cross River State, Okey Ezeanyi, wto the NYSC secretariat, Calabar.

“It is the duty of INEC to provide adequate security for corps members, who will be used as ad hoc staff for the 2015 elections,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the NYSC scheme, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi,  echoed this thought at a separate forun.

He noted that adequate provision have been made to ensure the protection of lives of NYSC members before, during and after the electoral activities.
