BBNaija Season 7 winner Phyna (Josephina Otabor) has publicly voiced her distress over a perceived fallout with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, attributing the friction to her association with controversial social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The Cold Shoulder
The reality TV star alleged that the actress, whom she affectionately calls “Mama,” has withdrawn her support on social media. Phyna noted that while Ojo used to actively engage with her content through likes and comments, those interactions have ceased. She believes this shift is a direct result of her decision to seek VDM’s assistance regarding the truck accident involving her sister.
Collateral Damage
Phyna further admitted that the controversy surrounding VDM has strained other relationships as well. She disclosed that her defense of or association with the influencer even led to an online confrontation with fellow reality star Vee Iyele.
She lamented:
“I feel Mama doesn’t like me that much anymore because before, she used to comment on my posts and like them. Now, she no longer does, and I’m very sure it’s because of that dirty boy. I even went as far as confronting Vee Iyele because of that dirty boy.”
