‘I’m sorry for your disappointment’- Adele suffers damaged vocal cords, cancels her concerts

Music star, Adele, may not be going on tour again after reportedly cancelling her last two concerts in London as a result of damaged vocal cords she suffered.

The singer who performed at Wembley Stadium on two consecutive nights(June 28 and 29), was supposed to be on two more shows which 100,000 people were expected to turn up for. According to Variety, she reportedly inserted a note in the tour program handed out to fans, hinting that she may never go on tour again.

“On medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend,” she wrote. “To say I’m heart broken would be a complete understatement.”

Adele who has performed at 121 shows since she began her on tour since 2016, performing at different venues all over the world including North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

On her Instagram post, Adele disclosed that she considered ‘miming’ for the last two shows slated for July 1 and 2 at the Wembley but couldn’t possibly do it, and will be making refunds if reschedules are not made.
