The first son of the Inspector General of Police , Jamil Abubakar, yesterday survived a plane crash.
According to details released by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Jamil was the co-pilot on the ill-fated plane which was returning from a routine maintenance abroad.
Jamil and the pilot lost control of the IRS airline, Folker 100, crashing at Ganla, Niger Republic.
IRS airline has not been in operation for a while because it had only one functional plane and had wanted to fix this other plane to commence operation. IRS airlines is owned by Alhaji Ishiaku Rabiu.
