FG Declares Wednesday, May 1, Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, May 1, as public holiday to commemorate Workers’ Day.

The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, made the announcement on Friday in a statement in Abuja.

The statement, which was signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Anesthesia Nwoebia, also congratulated Nigerians for their resilience and commitment in the face of the challenges of daily living.
