Chelsea star Cole Palmer has chosen Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo as the better player between the two football legends.
In a recent interview with Goal, as shared by Fabrizio Romano, the England international revealed that Messi was his childhood idol.
“I wanted to be like Lionel Messi when I was younger. Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? For me, it’s Messi,” Palmer said.
Messi and Ronaldo are considered two of the greatest footballers in history, collectively winning 13 Ballon d’Or awards over the past 15 years.
