
The Coalition of Eastern Human Rights and Prodemocracy Activists (CEHRAPA), has named four representatives to the forthcoming National Dialogue.
The National Coordinator of CEHRAPA Benedict Ezeagu Esq who disclosed this recently said the quartet were selected by civil society organisations from the South East zone at a meeting held in Enugu.
Kinsley Binitie, Senior Communication Officer, said the distinguished individuals were chosen because they are thought leaders with proven track records in human rights, security, justice and development.
Representatives chosen by the group include eminent, legal practitioner and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association from Anambra State.
Others are Dr. Uju Agomoh, criminologist, legal practitioner, executive director, Prisoners Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA) from Abia State; Eze Onyekpere Esq, legal practitioner, fiscal governance analyst, lead director Centre for Social Justice and Convener of the Citizens Wealth Platform from Imo State and Comrade Ibuchukwu Ezike, executive director, Civil Liberties Organisation from Enugu State.
They are also founders and leaders of well recognized groups that have impacted on the development of the country both locally and internationally.
The Coalition and the above mentioned nominees have developed strategies to ensure an inclusive process to collate the views of all civil society groups and other relevant stakeholders in the South East which will inform the inputs of the nominees at the National Conference.
