The news of her demise was confirmed by Owolabi Ajasa, the Ogun State Governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN). In an emotional statement shared on his Instagram page, Ajasa expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the actress during her health challenges.
Ajasa wrote, “We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed financially, offered prayers, encouragement, and support towards the treatment of our dear colleague, ATINUKE REMILEKUN KAREEM. Sadly, despite all our efforts and prayers, Atinuke has passed on and answered the final call.”
He further urged the public to keep her family, colleagues, and loved ones in their prayers as they navigate this painful loss, emphasizing submission to the will of God.
