A Hilux vehicle caught fire near the Ministry of Justice in Abuja on Friday, causing panic among workers, bystanders, and motorists.
The incident occurred near the building around 12.30 p.m. The vehicle burned for several minutes without any help from firefighters.
Despite the efforts of other motorists who brought out fire extinguishers to assist in putting out the fire, the unfortunate vehicle was burned beyond recognition.
Some ministry employees stood in their offices and watched the vehicle burn.
The incident sparked concern because the US Embassy had previously issued a security advisory warning of an increased risk of terror attacks in Abuja.
