Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo has ordered that Seun Egbegbe be kept in prison till Tuesday, February 21 when his bail applications would be heard.
It would be recalled that the Police Special Fraud Unit arraigned him for serial fraud involving N39, 098,100, $90,000 and £12,550 last Friday. He was arrainged on 36 counts along with his accomplice Ayomide Oyekan.
Egbegbe’s lawyer, Miss. A. O. Gbadamoshi said she completed the process of filing the bail applications on Tuesday but the Police prosecutor, Innocent Anyigor said he was unable to file a counter affidavit to the applications as he was served yesterday, adding that he needed time to respond.
He will therefore remain remanded in prison until at least Tuesday when his bail application is heard.
