Adekunle Gold has reacted to rumours about his family, clearing the air over reports that he and his wife, Simi, recently welcomed twins.
During a recent interview, the singer also spoke about life with Simi and how their daughter, Deja, is already showing interest in music.
“It’s interesting to be married to another fantastic songwriter, and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for music as well,” he said.
Adekunle Gold, however, dismissed the rumours about twins, stating that the reports circulating online were untrue.
“My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins. It’s just internet rumours. We have a son,” he added.
The speculation began after a viral family-themed music video released last year showed Simi visibly pregnant while announcing they were expecting another child.
Weeks later, social media rumours claimed the celebrity couple had welcomed twins, but Adekunle Gold’s recent statement has now addressed the claims.
