Three Manchester United players — Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelöf, and Jonny Evans — have officially confirmed their departure from the club following their 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on the final day of the Premier League season.
The trio will leave Old Trafford as free agents once their current contracts expire.
Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the development on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating:
“Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelöf and Jonny Evans say goodbye to Man United fans as they’re leaving as free agents.”
In their farewell match, Lindelöf was in the starting lineup, while Eriksen and Evans came off the bench. Eriksen sealed the win with a penalty, following an opener from Amad Diallo, who scored with a well-placed header.
