The unidentified security officer however declined to disclose if the women and children are among the over 200 girls that were abducted from the Chibok school. He however said the women and children who have been moved to an undisclosed hospital for rehabilitation narrated their ordeal in the Boko Haram camp.

He said some of the women said they had to leave their little children there due to the horrifying pain they were subjected to.
“They have talked about how some of them who were trying to escape were killed and some forced back when armed Boko Haram militants discovered them escaping.” he said.

The Chairman of the Madagali Local Government Area in Adamawa state James Watarda has also confirmed reports of the recent escapees. On Saturday July 5th, reports emerged of how 63 women reportedly fled the Boko Haram camp.
