Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, has reportedly passed away, throwing the Yoruba movie industry into mourning.
News of the actor’s death emerged on Monday, June 1, after an Ibadan-based radio station, Success FM, shared the sad development on Facebook.
The station wrote:
“Heartbreaking news hits the Yoruba movie industry as multi-talented actor, filmmaker, and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, has reportedly passed away.”
The post also extended condolences to his family, friends, the people of Okeho, and members of the Nollywood community.
As of the time of reporting, the cause of his death had not been made public.
Janmole’s passing has left many fans emotional, especially as it comes more than a year after he reportedly survived a serious accident that sparked widespread prayers and concern from supporters.
His death also adds to the recent wave of losses in Nollywood, following reports of the deaths of Patrick Okoye and veteran Yoruba actor Fesogboye Oyewole within the same week.
