About 17 people have been confirmed dead and many injured after a bomb ripped through a mosque in Jambutu area Yola, Adamawa state this afternoon.
Many of the Muslim faithfuls were leaving the mosque just after their Jumat prayers when the incident happened. This blast comes hours after a similar incident occurred at a mosque in Maiduguri killing 28 people.
