Several artisans, whose number are yet to be ascertained on Monday, were trapped as a four-storey building collapsed in Lagos.
The site workers were said to be working on the building on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, when it gave way.
The artisans, who were caught unaware by the collapse, which happened around 3.30pm, could not escape out of the building before it dame down.
Sympathisers were reported to be making emergency but slow efforts to rescue the trapped workers.
