WOMAN KNOCKS OFF 3 TEETH FROM NEIGHBOR’S MOUTH DURING FIGHT

A 35-year old woman has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for allegedly assaulting her neighbour by knocking off her three teeth during a fight in their Ikotun residence, in  Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.


Mrs Itunu Makanjuola allegedly picked a stone and hit Omowunmi Akindero on her mouth while they were fighting at their residence  at 11, Temitope Street, off Governor’s Road, Ikoun, Lagos. As a result,  three of  Akindero’s  teeth fell off.

Mrs. Makanjuola was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrate’s court with assault and wounding.
A sourcegathered that the fight followed a disagreement over the spread of washed clothes on a hanger.

The two women  were arguing  over who will first spread their clothes and in the process, fight broke out between them.

The matter was reported at Ikotun Police Division and Mrs. Makanjuola was arrested and charged to court
When she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr P. E. Nwaka granted her bail in the sum of N20,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 28 October.

Mrs. Makanjuola was remanded in prison custody pending when she will fulfill her bail conditions.
