One Sarah Ademola, has abandoned her twin babies at a hospital in Lagos over her inability to pay the medical bills after delivery.
Ms Ademola reportedly gave birth to a set of twins at the Felken Maternity Centre in the Somolu area of Lagos State, but she absconded, leaving behind her newborn girls due to the inability of her husband, Adeyemi Ademola, to pay the sun of N150,000 owed the hospital.
According to reports revealed by one of the nurses, the new born babies are in good condition.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the nurse said: “We have given them till weekend. If they don’t come to claim the children, we will hand them (the twins) over to the government.”
The woman should have seek assistance elsewhere rather than abandoning her newborn twins.
