Street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has finally cleared the air regarding his abrupt exit from the highly publicized celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha. The controversial singer walked out during the opening round, leading to an automatic defeat, but he insists there is a shocking explanation behind his forfeit.
Allegations of Biting and Unfair Play
Taking to his official Instagram page, Portable shared a video showcasing visible injuries on his back and body. The “Zazuu Zeh” crooner alleged that Okocha completely abandoned the rules of boxing, resorting to wrestling and underhanded tactics. In a bizarre turn of events, Portable claimed that the actor actually bit him during their physical altercation in the ring.
“They said he eats Molly. He didn’t see Molly anymore. So he ate my back. Man, he bit me. I landed a heavy hit on him,” Portable stated in the video, defending his performance before the fight fell apart.
A Chaotic Showdown in the Ring
According to Portable, he was actively dominating the bout and landing significant punches before the match descended into chaos. He alleged that it wasn’t just Okocha he had to contend with, claiming that multiple individuals stepped in to attack him during the scuffle.
Despite his claims of early dominance, the official match concluded with Portable suffering a defeat after abandoning the bout in the very first round. This chaotic rematch follows months of highly publicized social media banter and rivalry between the two eccentric Nigerian entertainment figures.
