Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has generated online reactions by explaining her shift in perspective regarding becoming a second wife. During an interview with her colleague Debbie Shokoya, the Yoruba actress, who disclosed her divorce earlier this year, expressed openness to the idea of being a second wife. As a single mother, she emphasized her acceptance of life as it unfolds and no longer sees herself confined to a specific role. Toriola further stated her willingness to marry a widower or someone with prior marital and parental experiences.
The actress said: “I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife but that has changed because I’m after-one now.
“If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness”.
