Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the governor of Osun state, on Monday visited the former state governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola at his residence in Okuku, in Odo Otin Local Government Area of the state.

According to report, Aregbesola, the incumbent governor of Osun state, had a meeting with the National Secretary of the PDP on Monday night for about an hour.

Although none of the aides of the two politicians disclosed what their principals discussed, many believed that the discussion centred on the August 9 governorship election.
Earlier,Prof. Sola Adeyeye, APC senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, had also visited Oyinloa’s residence .

Commenting on the development, the Director of Bureau of Communication, Research and Strategy, Mr Semiu Okanlawon, said the visit was in the spirit of Easter season.
