The Nigerian Super Eagles squad has united to combat cyberbullying and stand in solidarity with their teammate, Alex Iwobi. Iwobi has faced criticism from football fans following the Super Eagles’ defeat to Ivory Coast in the AFCON finals. Despite numerous celebrities urging critics to stop targeting Iwobi and showing support for him on social media, Iwobi decided to delete his Instagram account due to relentless criticism. Super Eagles stars like Victor Osimhen, William Troost-Ekong, Samuel Chukwueze, Joseph Ayodele-Aribo, and others have thrown their support behind Iwobi to combat cyberbullying.
