Nigerian cryptocurrency tycoon Linus Williams, widely recognized as Blord, has shared a thought-provoking perspective on the stark contrast between individuals who inherit wealth and those who build their fortunes from the ground up.

Speaking in a viral video, the billionaire entrepreneur acknowledged the advantages of being born into privilege while expressing deep admiration for self-made individuals who navigated life’s challenges without a financial safety net.

In his characteristically candid manner, Blord stated that people who started with nothing deserve divine recognition. “Maximum respect to those born with a silver spoon,” he said, congratulating those whose parents secured their futures. “But people like us, who had to lay the foundation ourselves, God needs to give us our own special space in heaven because we have really tried.”

The Building Analogy of Wealth Creation

To illustrate his point, the tech businessman used a construction metaphor. He explained that inheriting wealth is akin to moving into a house where the ground has been cleared, the foundation poured, and the roof completed. In contrast, self-made individuals must first purchase the land, clear it, and build every single block themselves.

According to Blord, starting from scratch comes with unique, often invisible difficulties because there is no safety net or established family reputation to fall back on when things go wrong.

Encouragement for the Hustlers

Blord concluded his message with a heartfelt prayer of encouragement directed at young people striving to change their family narratives. He prayed that God would bless the hard work and tireless efforts of everyone fighting to succeed without parental backing.

“So to all my brothers who weren’t born with a silver spoon, may God bless your hard work in Jesus’ name. Amen,” he concluded, acknowledging the sheer grit required to succeed in today’s economy.
