Detectives at Igbo-Efon, Eti-Osa local government, Lekki have arrested a fruit vendor.
The male fruit vendor was arrested following a tip of from a lady who caught him washing the mangoes in a gutter.
Bystanders said he has been warned against washing the mango in the brackish water.
Upon his arrest he was taken away to the police station.
We urge readers to make sure they wash thoroughly any fruit they buy before consumption.
