Famous musician Anthony Victor, also known as Victony, recently discussed a painful experience from his past involving heartbreak. He shared the details during a recent episode of a podcast hosted by Chinasa Anukam.
Victony revealed that he felt hurt and betrayed upon learning about his ex-girlfriend’s secret relationship with another man. According to him, his ex-girlfriend had deceived him by claiming that the other man was just a friend, when in reality, they were having an affair. This left Victony feeling foolish and deeply hurt.
“She [my ex-girlfriend] was talking to this other guy and I was aware. She was telling me about this other guy. Me, very open-minded, I was like, this guy was just her friend.
“She told me he was her friend but his name just always came up. And I will be like, what kind of friend is this one?
“At the end of the day, it turned out he was not her friend. That was very mad because when I realised everything that was going on, I felt very stupid,” the singer said.
Victony also disclosed that this heartbreak took place during his teenage years when he was still young and vulnerable.
