Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, widely known as Victony, has revealed that he still suffers from leg pain despite undergoing four surgeries.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the artist, who survived a tragic car accident in 2021 that claimed one life and left three others injured, opened up about his ongoing struggles.
Reflecting on the accident that left him wheelchair-bound for nearly a year, Victony shared that he is set to undergo a fifth surgery due to persistent discomfort.
“My leg still hurts. I still have another surgery to go. I’ve come to accept this experience—it’s part of my journey and has shaped who I am today. While I may not embrace it happily, it remains a significant part of my story,” he said.
The singer also disclosed that he was in a coma for three to four days after the crash. He admitted to struggling with “survival guilt” upon learning that someone had lost their life but has since found a way to move forward.
Despite these challenges, Victony remains committed to his music career, embracing his journey and the experiences that have defined him.
