Controversial critic, Verydarkman, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of corruption, alleging that DJ Tunez, a close associate of Afrobeats star Wizkid, and musician Terry Apala bribed the agency after being summoned over claims of naira mutilation.
In an Instagram video, Verydarkman displayed an invitation letter related to the summons, asserting that the EFCC is now targeting celebrities. He stated that DJ Tunez and Terry Apala complied with the invitation and, upon their arrival, had their phones confiscated. The officials reportedly showed them a video and hinted at a settlement, drawing parallels to Bobrisky’s recent case with the commission.
According to Verydarkman, the two artists were later taken to a location where they allegedly paid between $5,000 and $6,000. He further accused EFCC officials of abusing their power, claiming they exploit their positions to extort young individuals and are now extending this practice to celebrities.
Expressing his frustration, Verydarkman declared his readiness to be investigated, emphasizing the depth of corruption within the EFCC.
