President Muhammadu Buhari says he may impose a ban on the use of Hijab in public spaces to save guard lives and properties in areas where suicide bombing is rampant.
Buhari said this on Wednesday while responding to a question on the use of the Islamic dressing by suicide bombers to hid bombs strapped to them.
The president answered: ”No, banning hijab is not enough. But hijab will be banned if suicide bombing continue.”
”It just has to be done because it’s for the safety of people generally, because the indoctrination they go through to kill themselves causes the aftermath. ”If people don’t mind losing their lives, then it’s extremely serious.”
