Students of the University of Benin, UNIBEN on Monday protested the death of one of their mates Halim Rita Awele who was killed by an army patrol van.
The second student involved Efe is in the hospital receiving treatment.
An army vehicle with the inscription Thunder storm patrol 28, at about 10:15am on Sunday morning hit the girls while crossing the road.
After the accident one of the girls was lying on the ground, while the other girl the car hit first was inside a bush close to the road side, they were immediately rushed to the hospital, but Halima gave up the ghost before reaching the hospital
