Kiev( Reuters) reports a statement from the Ukraine’s security and defense council’s twitter account “A counter-offensive by Russian troops and separatist units is continuing in south-east Ukraine,”
The statement which suggests Russia has successively backed Pro-Moscow separatist rebel in their seizing of coast town ‘Novoazovsk’ and parts of Southeast Ukraine.
The recent aggravation and ‘unproofed” troop deployment by the Kremlin has caused Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko to cancel his proposed visit to Turkey.
These escalations occur just days after the the Presidents of both nations met, showing no progress has been made despite the launch of a peace process.
Russian defence ministry denies deploying troops and arming rebels but have refused to comment on their tanks in Novoazovsk.
