It will be an uncommon day in the “house of commons” as top leaders will skip wednesdays “question time” in a last minute attempt to save the UK union before the September 18 Scottish independence vote.
Prime minister David Cameron(conservative), and opposition leader of the labour party Ed Miliband are putting their differences aside resting talks of impeachment and instead will fly to Scotland to campaign for a “NO” vote in independence referendum.
Cameron who has pledeged “Significant new powers” to Scotland in a bid to save the “NO” vote also called for a new timetable to give Scots “clarity” in deciding their future.
The “Yes” party has gained significant grounds in recent weeks and its a close race in what many claims prompted the impending visits of the UK leaders.
First Minister Alex Salmond has said the plan will backfire and will only help propel what will be victory for the “YES” group and wants a debate with UK prime minister David Cameron.
