Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega, who resides in the UK, has disclosed that he has been battling cancer privately for several months.
In a heartfelt video message shared with his congregation, the founder of the Nxtion Family (formerly known as the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church) opened up about his health struggle and recent medical procedure.
“I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, you heard me right. I’ve been dealing with cancer for the past few months or even more. I just had a major surgery, that’s why I am not there today,” he revealed.
Pastor Adegboyega described his survival as a divine sign, stating:
“I have just fought the battle, and I feel the verdict to continue life was given to me by God for a new level, for a new stage.”
In a bid to support others facing similar health issues, he donated £100,000 toward cancer awareness and treatment initiatives for young people.
His revelation has stirred widespread attention on social media, with many Nigerians expressing solidarity and offering prayers for his recovery.
This announcement follows shortly after the pastor lost an appeal in a £1.87 million fraud case and faced deportation challenges in the UK.
