The magistrate sentenced him to two years imprisonment for conspiracy, three years for forgery and two for stealing.

Badrudeen, however, gave the convict the option to pay a fine of N30, 000 on the first count, N40, 000 on the second charge of forgery, and N30, 000 fine for stealing.

Anifowose was convicted after he was found guilty of forging payments receipts of the University College Hospital, Ibadan totaling N87,000 while serving as cashier in July 2012.

The prosecutor, ASP Grace Akinsehinwa had told the court that the offences contravened Sections 390 (9) 467 and 516 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38, Vol. 11, Laws of Oyo State 2000. (NAN)
