Tragic news has emerged as four well-known gospel ministers, including Evangelist Ayodeji David (Kekere Jesu), Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Opeyemi Adesina, and Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, have been confirmed dead following a fatal accident on the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road in Ogun State.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the devastating incident in a statement from Florence Okupe, the Public Information Officer for Ogun State Command.

The ministers were reportedly traveling for a ministry assignment when their vehicle collided with another in a high-impact crash, leading to the immediate deaths of all four occupants.

According to reports from The Nation newspaper, the accident involved several vehicles and claimed the lives of over 24 people. Preliminary investigations suggest that speeding and poor visibility were contributing factors to the tragedy.

In the aftermath, Kekere Jesu and his senior brother’s wife have been buried, while his late personal assistant’s remains were taken to Ado-Ekiti, and his fiancée’s body was returned to her family for burial.
