Popular businessman Tony Elumelu has refuted rumors that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants to appoint him as the new governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The billionaire refuted the allegations in a Twitter response to the X user who had posted the news.

In reaction, Tony Elumelu claimed it is false news.
